Jane gets out her toolbox and places it on the table and just looks at it.  It makes her feel happy and warm inside as she looks at the pictures of the people she had interacted with and remembers the times she spent with them or just talking with them. She then opens her toolbox and takes out her calender and looks at the appointments she has for the day and again looks at each persons picture and thinks about the things that person wants to accomplish and figures out how she can help that person.  Her sixth sense tells her about things she could suggest and share with the individual to help her people and as she listens to them her sixth sense helps her answer and guide the individual.

Sally goes to get her toolbox and does not remember where she placed the toolbox.  So a lot of her time is spent looking for the toolbox. Maybe it is under all the papers on the desk or maybe she left it in the living room so she spends a lot of time going from room to room searching.  She finally stops and stands still and her sixth sense tells her where she left the toolbox and then she can decide what she feels like doing about her business and who she feels like talking with that day.

Trudy knows exactly where her toolbox is because Trudy has a place for everything and everything is in its place. Trudy analyzes the list of people in her Excel sheet and her appointment calander on the computer to see who she needs to connect with and what she should be doing with them.  Trudy answers or directs each client to what they need and makes an appointment with them for the next session. Trudy has learned she needs to listen more and is developing her sixth sense so she will be able to build a closer relationship with the people she is talking with.

Sandra has her toolbox. It is one she had custom made so it would co-ordinate with all her other business tools and as she walks into her office she can see her toolbox on her desk readily available to begin the day.  She checked her appointments the night before so she is ready to keep things on schedule and has qualified the prospects she will be talking with. Sandra has used her sixth sense to look at the business opportunities that have been presented to her and only participates in the ones that make the most money.

Hill described the sixth sense as "that unknown something".  We all have that "unknown something" at some level and we can develop it or ignore it. It all comes down again to the choices we make in how we utilize this tool in our toolbox.

In June of 2002 I was driving to work one night in heavy rain. Headed southbound on Connecticut Route 169, my Jeep Cherokee slammed onto a large puddle caused by a backed-up storm drain. The Jeep hydroplaned and spun out of control.

My instinct was to struggle to get control of the vehicle, but a quiet voice in my head said, “Let go.”

I relaxed my body and my grip on the wheel. The Cherokee slammed sideways into a large oak. Rescue personnel cut the Jeep’s roof away, strapped me to a backboard and lifted me straight up out of the vehicle.

I awoke in an intensive care unit and discovered I had escaped the accident with a hairline fracture in my neck and a bruised spleen. The Jeep was totaled, of course.

After spending the summer in a neck brace, I returned to work. Every time I drove in heavy rain I experienced anxiety and gripped the steering wheel tightly.

One day a sudden feeling of peace came over me, and I was told I was under protection until I fulfilled my purpose. It was revealed to me that I have not one, but two, full time Guardian Angels Their names are Michael and Gabriel.

Yes, they are the archangels. Several times, in my imaginary conversations with him, Mick corrected my pronunciation of his name: “Mick-ai-el”. He doesn’t mind if I call him Mick, as long as I don’t call him Mike or Michael.

You may wonder how I can have two archangels with me at all times? After all, these two have many responsibilities? To begin Your understanding, realize they are not corporeal beings.

I “met” a third archangel, Raphael, when I discovered he is the Guardian Angel of my granddaughter Cailynn.

I have had many “conversations” with these three. Interestingly, they each have a different personality. Raph is a Yellow, Gabe a Blue and Mick a hammered Red. I mused out loud one day why I had never heard from the fourth archangel, the Green Uriel. Maybe because, being a Green, Uriel just observes a lot and doesn’t speak up.

Then I heard a very quiet voice ask, “Who do You think has been guiding You all these years?”

I broke down in tears as I realized Uri is not my Guardian, but has always been a Guiding Angel.

I recalled an encounter I had years ago when I was in college. During a time when I was going through a major turning point in my life, I sat under Broad Street in Philadelphia waiting for a subway train. I sat quietly on a bench at the Columbia Avenue station, caught in thought.

A tall African man wearing a colorful pattered shirt sat down on the bench next to me and began a conversation by inquiring about the text books I was carrying. I don’t recall many specifics of the discussion, but when the train arrived, we road together to the City Hall station and continued our talk.

During the ride a powerful sense of peace and clarity overwhelmed me. We never exchanged names, but as the train arrived at City Hall and we prepared to exit, the man leaned close to me and quietly spoke words I’ll never forget as long as I live. When we left the train he disappeared into the crowd, and I never saw him again to this day.

His unforgettable words were, “I’m not Your Guardian Angel. I’m just a passing stranger.”

“The author (Napoleon Hill) is not a believer in, nor an advocate of “miracles,” for the reason that he has enough knowledge of nature to understand that Nature never deviates from her establish laws. Some of her laws are so incomprehensible that they produce what appear to be “miracles. The Sixth Sense comes as near to being a miracle as anything I have ever experienced.”

Napoleon Hill doesn’t believe in miracles???

As a critical thinker and as a Christian, I DO believe in miracles. Unashamedly. I believe that there are times when there is no explanation for something to have happened, except that it was supernaturally done by God.  Some people, however, spend their lives waiting on a “miracle,” rather than taking Action to make their dreams come true.

Perhaps they think money will fall from heaven to keep them from poverty's doorstep.

How many times have we heard a Believer say, “If God wants me to be rich, He will make it happen.”

That’s a Chicken Exit and a convenient way of avoiding personal responsibility.

It makes more sense to be responsible, find a way to earn additional money, and invest time in learning the skills for success. For me, that vehicle is Network Marketing.  My “miracle” will manifest as I vigorously work my business, and when it does, I’ll give God all the credit for giving me those “holy hunches.”

If Hill didn’t believe that the God who created the heavens and earth could miraculously make blind eyes see, deaf ears to hear, and the lame to walk, that’s between him and God.  I fully believe that God is still in the miracle business, yet my Finances are more determined by my own Desire and Actions than on God suspending the Universal Laws to give me a handout.

Yes, Napoleon, you are correct, when you say that the Sixth Sense appears to be Miraculous.  It is totally miraculous!

The Psalmist declares in Psalm 37:4 "Take Delight in the LORD, and He will give you the DESIRES of your heart."  Wrap your brain around that amazing thought!  It's like God imbedded His divine GPS into our DNA.  Giving us Supernatural Guidance is His DELIGHT. 

As with any gift, the more we value and practice it, the more intuitive we become.

Is it possible that some people don’t experience this Divine Sixth Sense because they don’t know what their Desires even are?  How many people have a clear awareness of their purpose in life and what they want to create?  When you find someone who knows their “Why,” CELEBRATE and INVEST in them. That person may very well be your next business Rock Star!

If you are reading this and/or listening to this call, congratulations! You have FOLLOWED your Sixth Sense.

He is GUIDING you step by step. You SEE things others don’t see.  You DREAM.  You BELIEVE.

May we never take for granted those holy hunches that will lead us to BECOME the Leaders we were created to be.

Chapter 12 - The Sixth Sense

Have you ever watched someone pack or see a truck driving down the street and you know they are moving because the back of the truck is full of furniture, boxes, pillows, etc.

Some load the truck and it looks like they stood on the steps of the house and just threw the furniture in the back and left each piece where it landed and kept throwing more and more on top until the truck box was full.  They drive down the Street and you really don’t want to follow too close just in case something falls off and lands on your vehicle.   Oops, there goes a pillow,  Oops, there goes a box.

Now, some take time and pack the load so carefully that every inch of space is utilized and nothing is going to move, everything is tucked in it’s space, organized and tied down so nothing goes flying out the back and on to the road.

If we think of our minds like the loaded truck, which truck would we  like our minds to be?

If we are like the truck driving down the street with things dangling down the sides and sticking out everywhere it would seem like nothing would make sense.  You would not hear anything because everything is helter skelter and it would just be noise.

Can the sixth sense work with a mind that is so scattered it is flying every which way that sounds, voices and thoughts just become noise.

If our minds were planned, organized and well thought out, like the organized packed truck, we would be able to think and hear.  There would be no clutter. There would be no noise.

The sixth sense is like the “still small voice” that Elijah heard when God spoke to him in the cave. Elijah did not hear God in the strong wind, he did not hear God in the Earthquake, he did not hear God in the fire, Elijah heard God in the “still small voice”.

Hill states The Sixth Sense is a subject that will be of great interest and benefit to the person whose aim is to accumulate vast wealth, but it need not claim the attention of those whose desires are more modest."

So how do we pack our mind?    Which truck are we driving?

Do we pack our mind with the aim to accumulate vast wealth or do we pack our mind with desires more modest?

Do we have room in our mind for the sixth sense to dwell, thrive and grow in or did we pack it in the back of the truck and oops we can't tell if that noise is just noise or is it "that still small voice" trying to speak to us.
